Unprofessional "ASIAN" Businesses

After I rocky start to my morning today, I was around the corner from "Morning Glory" a Kawaii toy and stationary shop.  Being it was 12pm in the afternoon, I would assume they would be open.  After parking my car and excitedly hopping to entrance, and then...much to my dismay A STAND STILL...the OPEN sign was not lit, and the shop looked gloomy.
Scanning around to find the SMALL little printed words and numbers on the window stating the BUSINESS HOURS, I was baffled, MON-FRI 11AM-7:30PM ...hmm am I missing something? Its THURSDAY if I am not correct, they should have been open ...AN WHOLE HOUR AGO!!

With a scowl on my face and my head sunken down I return to my scorching hot car, and drove off to grab some boba tea. (Maybe that will make me feel better)

How unprofessional? I mean 5-10 minutes late, I will be a little more understanding but and hour?  If I was an employee and I was an hour late, that calls for a write up. There is no excuse for that.  They just lost a potential customer!  In hard times like these, we can use every cent we can squeeze out.  Now that I thought about it, even if I didn't get to go shopping there,  I wouldn't be surprised if the clerk there is some rude Asian man or woman, whose idea of CUSTOMER SERVICE is to bark at the customers, and give them vague answers to all the questions expecting the customers to fill in the blanks. Are they doing so good that they don't need the business? I am doubtful, with all the KAWAII stationary stores popping up everywhere here, and the cost to keep a shop its hanging by a thread.  It isn't easy as cake to run a business, I should know, I am a entrepreneur FAIL and SEMI SUCCESS story.  This is why I would rather pay a premium and shop somewhere corporate owned or boutique style. Why do Asian shop owners all act so almighty? [If you don't buy anything then I will chase you out of the shop.] Attitude. Now that the cat is out of the cage, there was once a upon a time I went to an Vietnamese shop to buy those cute little clear heels they have, first thing the lady said to me, "Are you going to buy anything?" Much to my surprise I responded with a "Maybe" her response?  "If you're not going to buy, get out"
WOW!!! That MAYBE could have been a YES, but with that ATTITUDE, I hope she sells that place and soon because she just pulls the business down.

Small Businesses Top Mistakes:
(1) Not able to define the line of business and religion [ that means those Buddhist shrines, and other religious relics ]

(2) Approaching customers with depends instead of helping them

(3) Answering questions with "WHAT YOU WANT?!" or "NO" and leave it at that.

(4) Completely IGNORE the customer ( even if the customer is waving and jumping around trying to get the clerks attention)

(5) Not have prices on anything, so the price changes depending on the clerks mood.

(6) Not be punctual, if the signs says open at 11am, be open at 11am.  That isn't even early!! If that is early than someone needs to fire their key-holder and hire someone else to better fulfill the job.

(7) Taping so many posters up on the window, no one can even see what is going on inside!

(8) Cheap with the AC/Heating/Lights I can't buy something I can't see, and I sure as hell don't want to stick around if its SUPER hot in the store, or even too COLD!

(9) Stare down customers where ever they go, as if they are about to rob the shop.
( that is quite annoying)

(10) Clerks who don't know the answer to a question and guess the answer, or just makes something up.  If the customer finds out, chances are they are never coming back

(11) CASH ONLY, I know they are trying to avoid taxes and stuff, they always try to deny it.  The REASON these ASIAN businesses don't take credit card is; one, they don't want to pay the processing fees, and two, they don't want a paper trail so they have to pay sales tax! GO SUCK ON THAT! That ATM machine in the corner? They are still making money off them! Those sneaky slanted eyes monkey eating clowns!!! ( I can say it because I am ASIAN ha! If you're a non-ASIAN saying that would be racist LOL)  >_<

It is not common to have to bargain for anything you buy here, EVERYTHING should have prices, clearly marked on them.  Asking for a price of each item is a pain in the behind when the clerk doesn't even want to help.  This is a rant of how much I am hating doing business with these monkey clowns, hopefully there will be some new businesses that open with service that, at the very least doesn't consists of half of the mistakes I mentioned.  That is very unfortunate.

  2. Which part? Actually people do evolve, and there are some (very rarely) but some ASIAN businesses who are actually quite professional. I was just very taken aback because Morning Glory is quite popular and well respected company somewhat throughout Cali and Nevada.
