Movie Review: Scream 4

Part of the sequel of Scream 1,2,3 from the '90s-'00, I didn't remember Scream being so damn cheesy.  If you haven't seen the last 3, then maybe you should before watching 4, but here is a short summary of the movie.  Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) a well known author returns home to Westboro, as the last stop to her book tour.  She renuites with  Sheriff Dewey,his wife Gale. her cousin Jill, and her Aunt Kate.  Sidney's arrival is welcomed with a gruesome murder, and the return of Ghostface, putting everyones life in danger.  

Again, I only have one word for this movie CHEESY! I mean if it isn't at all scary, then at least be funny, complete fail at everything! Need I say more?  Courtney Cox is getting old, and this movie is not at all well played on her part. Neve Campbell? WOW, maybe she should play a more ....dramatic, and moving character in ANOTHER MOVIE.  She definitely is getting OLD! (Everyone does, get over it, she just gets paid big bucks so she gets grief for it.) Hayden Panetierie? She needs to attend acting class...she is terrible. Not to mention that hair do? UGLY, she looks like a boy stuck in a girls body (I mean a little girl, she doesn't even have boobies).   Emma Roberts?  Maybe the only actress well enough to play her role. 

OVERALL RATING:

2/5 stars, pain staking to watch. This movie was a JOKE, within a joke. Argh, is Scary Movie was to make a joke on this movie ...they don't need to, just play the damn movie. 1 star for having a bunch of overpaid, overly famous actors/actresses, 1 star for Emma Roberts efforts of pulling this movie together.
