Oh, joy, it is that time of year again! The Holidays ! Time to spend with our family, a good mini getaway from work, school, and other things we do on a regular basis.
Nothing is going to spoil all the cheerfulness for you, not even a poor turkey in line to be slaughtered. Hey, I am not trying to preach to the deaf, but I choose not to eat turkeys for Thanksgiving for some reasons:
(1) they are one ugly bird
(2) I'd rather have chicken
(3) it takes too long to cook, and it is way to cold to go pick up that heavy bird
Some people may think I am being one of those anti-turkey slaughtering hippies, but I just saved one turkey, and killing a chicken, a lobster, some fish, and a few crabs. See the tradeoff? ** No offense to the animal loving, non-meat eaters. What ever makes you happy yeah?
Truth be told, no one CARES or even talks much about the history of Thanksgiving, so I will make it short for you all. One day long ago, we had our FIRST treaty meeting in the land now known as the US of fucking A. I guess the first thing they killed was the turkey and the Indians came there after. It was supposed to be like this...
FIRST...put on a fake smile and pretend we are BEST FRIENDS
Then, kill the motherfucker, and take all that is his!
Okay, lets not drag up the past...or present hmmm
Point of the story, Thanksgiving is now a day for cows here to REJOICE for they will live another day.
**Note why do they do that?! No animal is happy to be killed, that turkey is dying on the inside, and soon DIE all together.
HAPPY TURKEY SLAUGHTER DAY!!!
